The 2007 Pontiac G5 is a reinterpretation of the successful Chevrolet Cobalt. With a reduced level of noise and a commendable powertrain, this sedan is geared to provide comfortable rides with highly responsive automatic devices. The 2007 G5 is available in a base model and with a GT trim package.

The primary powertrain of the 2007 Pontiac G5 is an I4 engine with a capacity of 2.2 liters and a horsepower of 148 hp. In the case of the GT trim package, the I4 has a capacity of 2.4 liters and a horsepower of 173 hp. A four-speed automatic transmission and a five-speed manual transmission are available.

The 2007 Pontiac G5 has incredible fuel economy for both the base and GT models. The mileage on urban roads is generally above 22mpg; for highways, it is above 33mpg.

An optional overdrive is provided to maximize the driving experience, not to mention the ABS, traction control (for the automatic transmission), and the OnStar assistance.
